How the affiliate system works
The affiliate system lets people earn without creating their own product. They promote products listed by sellers and receive commission from successful sales.
A seller enables affiliate promotion for a product and chooses the commission percentage.
The product appears in the affiliate marketplace if it is active.
An affiliate clicks Promote and receives a unique tracking link.
A buyer opens the product through that link and completes payment.
PayForIt tracks the sale and credits the seller, affiliate, and referral rewards where applicable.
Payment split
Payments are processed through the platform and recorded in the internal ledger. The platform fee is calculated first, then the affiliate commission is calculated from the remaining amount based on the percentage selected by the seller. The rest goes to the seller balance.
Referral rewards
The referral system rewards users who bring new sellers or affiliates to the platform. When a referred account generates eligible activity, the referrer can receive a reward from the platform fee without reducing the buyer experience.
